    Joaquin Phoenix

WTF is up with his shoulder? I've been wondering this for years. It's like he's got a permanently dislocated shoulder.

couldn't quite get the soundtrack for 88 NYC, it was cool, but it seemed like the whole thing was off. pretty bad movie.

Some people just can't take other's opinions I guess. It's like when I meet other photographers who act like I murdered Jesus or something cause I prefer Nikon over Canon.

His left shoulder seems like it's rotated too far forward all the time, like he broke his collarbone years ago and it healed wrong.

Does anybody know what happened to his lip area? I'm curious about that myself.

    from imdb.com

Contrary to popular belief, the scar on his lip is not the result of a repaired cleft lip or palate. It is simply a birth mark. Phoenix has stated in interviews that, while pregnant with him, his mother felt a sharp pain one day, and he was born with a mark on his lip.
much more inclined to believe its a repaired hairlip

    from wiki

The popular belief that Joaquin Phoenix has a repaired cleft lip is mistaken. The mark on his lip is a microform, an almost-cleft that healed itself in utero. If the tissues join up just enough to create correct bone and muscle tissues, no corrective surgery is required, as was the case with Phoenix.

I just watched parts of To Die For, he was so young and thin and his hunched posture was even more pronounced. I always wondered why too.
