    I don't think there's been a long term ex I haven't slept with for long after the fact. It's not healthy, but neither is hooking up with random people so I suppose it's a draw.

    If I had to compare the two I'd say sleeping with an ex is almost worse. There's potential to cause some more serious emotional pain and it can bring up baggage in people who never had closure.. who knows. Some people can probably handle it better than others but, I can imagine it being VERY unhealthy for some to hook up with their exes as opposed to a one night stand with somebody you have zero emotional connection with.
    I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days.

    Well, it's unhealthy for me for damned sure. I think I'm an emotional masochist, which works out because my exes have tended to be emotional sadists. I've been putting the fun in dysfunction since '92, when I got my first shitty boyfriend.
