Basically, everything you put up on here is ours forever to do whatever we wish with.
What is also amusing is that somehow the facebook community is all up in arms about this.
First of all, the only thing that changed is now they have license to sell your shit after you cancel your account, the TOS already had the first clause in there before the change. They just removed the part about you getting your rights back when you cancel an account.
I wonder how many of them actually had facebook use their stuff already, probably somewhere close to... NONE.
Did people really assume that when they uploaded shit to someone elses server they were going to hold all rights to it though? Gimme a break.

As much as people claim to be net savvy, so many aren't (as our nude group learned). Once it is up and out there folks, it is OUT there.
Oh well. I never joined the facebook hype. Myspace was bad enough to convince me not to go a round 2.
Too many people like to click without acknowledging what they are getting into.
I'm on facebook. I upload my pictures. I write stupid little status updates. What the fuck ever. If facebook wants to use my face to promote their new herpes cure its w/e.
I'm not going to go publish my thesis on the new thinking of quantum mechanics though. MINE ALLLLLL MINE!!!!

I just got a facebook. Not getting all the fanfare for it. Ive had myspace for years and its definatly superior imo.

I hate both myspace and facebook.... I might as well go back to friendster. I think I've just grown tired of having all these web accounts to websites that are out there.
Myspace has pretty much the same TOS. As do most social networking sites.
