Thread: Asian Film Festival opens tonight

i'll second neko ramen taisho and 4b1a, but you're missing some good ones. hansel and gretel is top on my list! written by, screen at kamchanod, and mushishi all look good to me too. too bad screen and mushshi play during the week, but luckily mushishi comes out on dvd next month so i'll just catch it then.... but, yeah, hansel and gretel and 4b1a are my top picks, i think....

tempting.... tempting.... but i'm really on a budget and think it might be best to just stick to one or two. i'd go see every one on my list if i could, and all the others, lol!

Oh, there are aplenty. And lately, Korea has come out with some good ones too.

just like anything else, there's good and bad.... hansel & gretel is a korean entry in this year's fest, though. looks similar in style to a tale of two sisters, which i loved....

HANSEL AND GRETEL serves as a dark, creepy modern fairytale.
