Lies Lies Lies yeah!

conspiracy theorists, and conspiracy haters, whats your view of this historical event?
Mine is just that, its weird that in 40 years we haven't even come close to the moon, yet our technology has increased 100 fold or more.

we've come a long way since then and to me its just strange we havent done more (as far as i know) than explore the moons surface and a tiny bit of drilling. hopefully when this whole "recession" thing shapes up maybe we might get a colony up there someday.
just imagine..... in a few years or so little Eric S. Jr might one day play the worlds first dj set on the moon.

he's already dead.just imagine..... in a few years or so Little Eric S. Jr might one day play the worlds first dj set on the moon.
aliens have wiped out our memories of any space travels.... so the only thing we've had that comes close to it would be in L.A. thank you hollywood!

i think the space race made it easier for people to believe the event actually happened. but, to be honest, i really don't know.

i always thought it was weird that the int'l space station was being built instead of just a base on the moon. i know the moon is a lot further away. i'm sure there are big hairy NASA reasons, but i don't know them.
but yeah, i would love if the moon landings were hoaxed. i don't know. kinda far fetched though.
nothing to see here
i bet the moon is made of smoked gouda. the government just doesn't want to admit it because they know it would make a badass quesadilla.
Atrium Obscurum
The moon is well and fine, but unless we intend to do it up like Airplane II and built a spaceport there, it is kind of inconsequential.
Space exploration should still be at the fore of our scientific endeavors, but this rock in space may not be here forever.
With the advent of 2010 being next year, I always thought we'd have real life Sealab going on by now.
As to the moon landing, yeah, I believe it happened.
I'm in the mood to chop yr. fucking hands off.
- Hunter S. Thompson
Progress isn't made by early risers. It's made by lazy men trying to find easier ways to do something.
- Robert Heinlein
They do have real life Sealabs going on all over the world - the habitats deep sea welders use when they're working on wells on the sea floor. Other than that, there's basically no practical purpose for expensive and dangerous pressurized habitats, when it's so much safer and easier to access it from the surface.
As far as the Moon goes, if there was a chance in hell that the landings had been faked, the Soviets would have been raising holy hell about it for decades now. All that conspiracy crap is just that. We put fucking rovers on Mars, for chrissakes - putting a couple of guys on the moon is nothing compared to that.
I have to admit that I never looked hard for that info. Making it a viable means is about as hopeful as us getting flying cars and living like the Jetsons or pretending that Cloud City (Bespin) life is around the corner.
LOL. You haz a point.
Unless ILM/Dreamworks got on board to make that Rover movie.
