Looks like he won the Dallas Cowboys roster spot.
I'm excited about it. He appears to be better than Hurd and Stanback combined so hopefully he can impress some coaches and get a solid back up spot.
It's only a matter of time before the fragile trio (Austin, Hurd, Stanback) to get injured again. The shit they put them through on that show is more intense than any mini camp or OTA so he should be ready to make an impact.

the drama was a little over the top, but hey its micheal irvin and well spike isn't the cream of the crop or anything, however i think they got this one right. dude has got decent hands, good routes and some ups. get him in there!
IF this guy makes the roster (which I doubt) we've got some serious problems in the scouting dept.
It's the NFL, you don't just walk up in tryouts and make the team. It's good for television, but not a good way to build a team.
They've been scouted I'm sure, somewhere along the way.........

I'm sure there is a screening process to select the few that Actually got selected. While it may seem like just anyone is walking on I beg to differ. He has solid size, speed, strength. He ran good routes and has good hands. IMO he has a lot of room for improvement and can maybe help the boys out. He did play at UNC both sports football and basketball. You gotta be a good athlete do that, I say give him a chance and see what developes. If he stands out as a cowboy looks like mike may have stumbled onto something for players who fall in the draft or may not get those opportunities. If he fails well then, I guess you can say you can't just try out and walk into the league.

Yeah I stopped watching about 4 episodes in but I still have them on tivo. The drama was a little much, but then again, it is the cowboys. I had a feeling that dude was gonna take it. I think it would be really cool if he made the cut. The odds are WAY stacked against him.

I liked it. I think he will do well. I think everyone has bad days or injuries which is where I think most of these guys came from
