eat a lot. not a ton to do at night, but the food is good. hit rosarios south of downtown.
What's to do at night there? I mean, besides the regular touristy stuff like the Riverwalk.
I'll be working from 10a-2p during the days. Anything I must do when I am off besides be lazy?

Taco stands, alamo, riverwalk
Who cares? Oh, you do.
go to mad hatters for lunch. yummy food & cheap sunday brunch.
limelight is local music. & its more locals & less tourists.
there is a few good contemporary art spaces there. i really like blue star.
going on the mission tour is fun. like i don't mean just the alamo, but the other missions.
alamo is good too if you have never been. beautiful garden out back. if you do hit the alamo go across the street to the menger hotel. there is a great old bar in the hotel that teddy roosevelt once got drunk in and where he convinced a bunch of cowboys to invade a foreign country with him.
i still love teddy for the national parks even if he did fuk up isolationism.

Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
