Dating in the dark

anyone else watch that last night? i actually thought it was pretty decent for what it was. Not too over the top, just a nice study in how shitty people can be. I felt really bad for that guy that got rejected though. He was nice, and he wasnt a bad looking guy either. The girl that rejected him was a bitch, i cant imagine being that shallow. Liking someone, but their looks dont match what you want so you blow them off. And she was no prize herself....she had that whole "dallas girl that watches the Hills to much" thing going on., along with a noticable amount of extra lbs. It killed me that she said "the last thing i would want is for someone not to give me a chance because of my looks" then did the same thing to a really nice guy. What a twat. And he looked like he had good credit too!

yeah, its cool. groups of three guys and girls meet each other in the dark. go back share their first impressions with the people in their group. then meet each other in invitations for chosen one on ones...then meet each other again after being advised by psychologists and relationship specialists as to who is their ideal match. Then a sketch artist comes in and they describe what they think the one they like looks like. finally they get to see what the other person looks like they've matched themselves with. after that they can meet each other on the balcony of this house..or they can leave through the front door (which can be seen from the balcony)
Its a really interesting show. Its kinda sad though because it just illuminates the shallowness that is todays dating pool.

its funny coz the sketch artist came in..and all the guys pretty much assumed that the girls were just normal girls you know. Just nice looking girls....but the girls drawings of the guys were like total super model guys that looked like Dolph Lungren and shit. Kinda makes you wonder about which sex has the most unrealistic view about who they'll end up with. But the stereotype was just the opposite as what you would think. The guys were cool with just having a cute/attractive girl that was into them...and the chicks were the ones being all unrealistic and wanting Superman to be their dates.
