To see a Chronic Pain Doctor also known as a Physiatrists. It took me trying neurontin, lyrica, steroid injections, medrol dose packs etc.. for the past 8 months. None of them work for my back pain and sciatica. Now I can finally get put on some good stuff that will actually work. I understand my Doctor's hesitation to put me on a narcotic pain management routine due to how young I am, but he finally decided to refer me to a Physiatrist since the clinic my Doctor works at won't due chronic pain management. YAY!! Now I can finally be pain free and work on fixing the problem with my back.

Have you seen an osteopath yet? I had one save me a ton of pain, surgery, and heavy meds, and it only took 3 visits. I went from not sleeping more than an hour at a stretch and waking up screaming from back pain to totally fine in about 2 weeks.

OH, and I've already been told I won't have a problem getting my Oregon Medical Marijuana Patient Card, I just gotta come up with the 3 or 400 bucks it cost's to go to the clinic that comes here twice a month and then to pay for the state fee's etc..

I feel you on the chronic pain issues, I have back issues on top of fibromyalgia, and have yet to find anything that works long term. Not having health insurance now, makes things even worse. So it is some days where I am ok, and other days, I can't get out of bed it hurts so bad, but staying in bed hurts too. If it hurts too bad, I go to the hospital and hope they give me something that will either take the pain away, or knock me out till it goes away.
Soon I am going to go see a acupuncturist to see if that works, then go from there. Hopefully I find a job with good medical insurance so I can start on getting to see a chronic pain specialist.

I couldn't imagine having to get all dicked up on meds to function properly. That sucks dude.
It sucks hardcore. The emergency room won't even treat my pain with narcotics anymore because I've been there about 20 times the past year. They just give me toradol which is a beefed up NSAID and it doesn't do shit for pain. Now I just have to wait 7 to 10 days for them to call me and set up my appointment. What the fuck am I supposed to do till then?

Smoke some herb or drink. It's not the best for pain management but it helps

she's been on them for years and years and years.
that bitch is now loonier than daffy duck times willie coyote and has no teeth.
I gotta say, being someone that's never dealt w/ back pain, it's something that I find very hard to swallow.
