    Re: quiet time suggestions?

my brother is deaf in his left ear. or was for a long while. permanent hole in his eardrum or some shit. you'd think i would be more certain on this. but uhh anyway, as for suggestions, is this a first date? I am assuming it is, unfortunately most quiet atmospheres are very intimate, so it might be awkward. I would suggest taking a canoe out on a lake. paddling.

mosquitos. prefer indoors. 2nd date. quiet enough to talk but populated enough to prevent nudity.

lol for a moment, I was going to say, if the person's deaf, any place is going to be nice an quiet.

How about a stroll through the DMA?
The main areas will be noisey, but there are sections that are fairly quiet with some sitting areas.

Go to the Olive Garden, get a booth in the corner and sit on the side of his good ear. Easy.

Or you could get him one of these...

Depends on the time of day and the park you go to. Plus there's also that whole bug spray option. Personally, I think picnics are an great way to get to know someone. You don't feel pressured, surrounded by nature, snacking on fruit and cheese, a nice bottle of wine. It's romantic, yet so simple and quiet.

If it wasn't only their second date I would suggest a dinner at home, everyone loves to have someone cook for them and home is always quiet.

I don't know many restaurants, public places, etc that are quiet enough for intimate convo. Maybe a nice patio somewhere before the dinner rush.

That's a good suggestion. The Nasher is pretty quiet too.

Go to a museum or art show... aquarium, planetarium, etc.
