    That's awesome Kim my parents supplemented the pay for my '09 Civic last Christmas. What're you gettin'? Also they paid for my dental work this past week, too! Cars & teeth. Yeehaw.

    Also my dad got me Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash. Can't wait 'til Christmas morning so I can start reading it.

    Theyre getting me a Taurus, nothing super awesome, but I dont need my car to be awesome so I am quite fine with that. Free is free and reliable is reliable.

    Its an mean to an end which is all I really wanted. They were going to help me by adding some to the cost of the car I chose, but a situation came up where it was easier and available for them to just buy a car for a really good deal, and that saved them the hassle of car shopping with me, while also saving me $$$ now. Win for us both(their time, my cost)
